Guide
How to craft and use the Nano Chestplate
-
1
Prepare the materials
Produce six Carbon Plates by compressing Raw Carbon Mesh, charge two Energy Crystals in an MFE or MFSU, and assemble one Advanced Circuit.
-
2
Craft the chestplate
Place the parts in a crafting table in the standard chestplate pattern: three Carbon Plates on top, Energy Crystals in the top corners, an Advanced Circuit in the center, and Carbon Plates filling the rest.
-
3
Charge it before combat
Right-click the chestplate inside a BatBox, MFE, MFSU, or use a charged Lapotron Crystal until the durability bar shows full 100,000 EU.
-
4
Toggle night vision underground
Equip the chestplate and press the IC2 armor mode key to switch the night vision effect on or off. The mode key is shown and rebindable in the controls menu.
-
5
Recharge regularly
Return to your charging station every long fight or mining trip. An empty Nano Chestplate provides no damage absorption at all.
Pair with the full Nano set (helmet, leggings, boots) for the strongest balanced protection short of the QuantumSuit.
