IC2 Experimental Coal Fuel for Minecraft 1.12.2, the energy-dense Coalfuel burned in Generators and Semifluid Generators for EU.
IC2 Guide
Pack hydrated coal dust into empty cells using the Canning Machine to obtain Coal Cells (H. Coal Cells) as the input for Coalfuel.
Run the Coal Cells through a powered Extractor; each one becomes a Coalfuel Cell, the bottled form of Coal Fuel.
Load six Coalfuel Cells into an Empty Fuel Can with the Canning Machine to assemble a full Fuel Can ready to burn.
Place the Fuel Can into a Generator. The full can yields roughly 76,440 EU before becoming empty again.
Alternatively pipe liquid Coalfuel into a Semifluid Generator, which is designed to consume Coalfuel directly as a fluid.
Coal Fuel mechanics have changed between IC2 Experimental builds on 1.12.2. Always confirm the current recipe and EU value inside JEI before scaling up your fuel line.
Coal Fuel, usually called Coalfuel, is the high-energy fuel produced by extracting hydrated Coal Cells in IC2 Experimental.
A Fuel Can filled with six Coalfuel Cells produces approximately 76,440 EU when burned in a standard Generator.
In a Generator using a filled Fuel Can, or directly as a fluid in a Semifluid Generator, which is built to consume Coalfuel-type liquids.
The chain has been reworked across IC2 Experimental versions. On many 1.12.2 builds it still works as described, but always confirm via JEI.
