Description
Charging Energy Crystal is a portable recharger from Industrial Craft 2 that rides in your inventory and automatically refills electric items of power tier 3 (HV) or below. Charging Energy Crystal stores 4,000,000 EU — exactly the combined capacity of the four Energy Crystals in its recipe — and feeds gear like the Iridium Drill, Mining Laser, Nano Saber, and the four Nano armor pieces. One Charging Energy Crystal takes four Component Heat Exchangers in the corners of the grid, four Energy Crystals on the edges, and one Advanced Charging Re Battery in the center.
Right-clicking the held Charging Energy Crystal cycles three modes: Disabled, Charge Items not in hand (fills the action bar except the held item), and Enabled (adds the held item). Charging Energy Crystal never recharges fellow charging items or equipped armor — armor must sit in the action bar to receive EU. A drained Charging Energy Crystal refills only in an MFE or MFSU storage unit. Later, one Charging Energy Crystal becomes the center of the Charging Lapotron Crystal recipe, ringed by four Lapotron Crystals and four Advanced Heat Exchangers.
