Electric Bow
The Electric Bow is a rechargeable EU weapon: a 0.8-second draw instead of 1, an arrow 15% faster with half the spread, and one more point of damage, all for 150 EU per shot — arrows are still required.
Description
Below 150 EU the Electric Bow draws normally but the arrow leaves at only 0.1 blocks per tick and drops about a block ahead of the shooter with no critical hit and 1 damage, spending the arrow but no EU — the penalty keeps an unbreakable bow from becoming a free weapon forever. The Electric Bow charges in a Battery Box slot, from a worn Energy Pack, or on a Charging Station at up to 32 EU per tick, and it still consumes arrows exactly like a vanilla bow. It is crafted from a vanilla bow, iron ingots, two batteries, two copper coils and an electronic circuit, and accepts the vanilla bow enchantments Power, Punch, Flame and Infinity.

Guide
How to craft and use the Electric Bow
-
1
Craft it
Combine a vanilla bow, a row of iron ingots, two batteries, two copper coils and an electronic circuit — the batteries' own charge carries over into the finished Electric Bow.
-
2
Charge it
Drop the Electric Bow into a Battery Box slot, wear an Energy Pack, or place it on a Charging Station; charging tops out at 32 EU per tick, so a full 10,000 EU buffer takes about 16 seconds.
-
3
Shoot with a full buffer
Draw for 0.8 seconds while the buffer holds at least 150 EU — the Electric Bow spends that charge only when an arrow actually leaves, giving 66 full shots per charge.
-
4
Watch the readout
The tooltip shows the current charge and the cost of one shot; once the charge drops below 150 EU it prints a red "Empty" line instead.
The Electric Bow never loses durability, but every shot — charged or not — consumes an arrow exactly like a vanilla bow.

Frequently asked questions
Does the Electric Bow break?
No — the Electric Bow has no durability at all; the bar under its icon shows EU charge, not wear, and it never breaks no matter how many arrows are fired.
Does the Electric Bow still need arrows?
Yes. Charged or discharged, every shot consumes a normal, tipped or spectral arrow exactly like a vanilla bow — EU only pays for a faster, tighter shot.
What happens when the Electric Bow runs out of charge?
Below 150 EU it draws like a vanilla bow, but the arrow leaves at 0.1 blocks per tick and drops about a block ahead of the shooter, dealing 1 damage with no critical hit.
How is the Electric Bow charged?
In a Battery Box slot, from a worn Energy Pack, or on a Charging Station, at up to 32 EU per tick — a full 10,000 EU charge takes roughly 16 seconds.
Can the Electric Bow be enchanted?
Yes — it accepts the vanilla bow enchantments Power, Punch, Flame and Infinity; Infinity stops it from consuming normal arrows, but a shot still costs 150 EU.
