Description
Greenhouse Door is the self-closing entrance block of the crystal greenhouse in the Ala Industrial mod for Minecraft 26.2 Java Edition, playable on both Fabric and NeoForge. The crafting recipe turns 4 Greenhouse Glazing and 2 Tempered Iron Plate into 2 Greenhouse Door blocks on a vanilla crafting table. Mechanically Greenhouse Door is an ordinary vanilla door: two block-halves tall, movable hinges, opening by hand or redstone, the sound of a copper door. A piston push breaks Greenhouse Door just like a vanilla door, and mining with a pickaxe (hardness 3, blast resistance 6, stack of 64) returns the item.
The one addition is autonomy: Greenhouse Door closes itself 100 ticks (5 seconds) after any opening. Before shutting, Greenhouse Door rechecks the doorway every 10 ticks and refuses to close on a living creature: only players and mobs keep the passage occupied, while an amethyst shard dropped underfoot holds nothing. Redstone cannot hold Greenhouse Door open either: under a lever left up, Greenhouse Door opens once, closes 5 seconds later, and reopens only after the signal is toggled. An open Greenhouse Door does not unseal the greenhouse, because the Greenhouse Controller scans what a block is rather than whether it is ajar, so Crystal Seedbeds keep growing with the door wide open. The auto-close exists for looks and safety, since mobs walk into a greenhouse through the one gap a standing-open door leaves. Any vanilla door also counts as shell for the controller, but only Greenhouse Door matches the seamless merged texture of a formed greenhouse.

Craft the door on a crafting table
Place 4 Greenhouse Glazing across the two upper rows of the 3x3 grid and 2 Tempered Iron Plate in the bottom row; one craft yields 2 Greenhouse Door.

Place Greenhouse Door in a two-block-tall gap
Cut a doorway in the greenhouse shell and use the door item on the block below the opening, exactly like a vanilla door; the upper half fills the space above on its own.

Close the room with the controller
Finish the shell from Greenhouse Decking and Greenhouse Glazing, set the Greenhouse Controller into a wall, and right-click it until the report says the room is formed.

Walk in and let the door shut itself
Open Greenhouse Door by hand or with a button; 100 ticks (5 seconds) later Greenhouse Door closes on its own, and while someone stands in the doorway the recheck repeats every 10 ticks.
The seal is never at stake
An open Greenhouse Door does not unseal the greenhouse: the Greenhouse Controller scans block types, not open states, so amethyst keeps growing even while Greenhouse Door stands wide open. The auto-close is there for looks and to keep mobs from walking in.

Does an open Greenhouse Door stop amethyst from growing?
No. The Greenhouse Controller scans what each block is, not whether it is open, so the Crystal Seedbeds keep growing with the door wide open.
Can the Greenhouse Door close on a player standing in it?
No. Greenhouse Door checks both halves of the doorway for living creatures and rechecks every 10 ticks until the way is clear; a dropped item never holds Greenhouse Door open.
Can redstone hold the Greenhouse Door open?
No. Under a lever left up, Greenhouse Door opens once, closes 5 seconds later, and stays shut until the signal is toggled. A short button pulse works as a normal momentary open.
Can I use the Greenhouse Door as a regular door outside the greenhouse?
