Creative Energy Source
Creative Energy Source is an inexhaustible Ala Industrial power block with an adjustable 32-8192 EU/t output — a testing tool that exists only in creative mode, never in survival.
Description
The job of Creative Energy Source is testing power setups — cable runs, reactor benches, chains of machines — where an ordinary generator becomes the bottleneck and muddies the verdict. The figure you set is the total Creative Energy Source gives per tick, shared between all connected consumers rather than paid to each one, and a single receiver never takes more than 512 EU/t — the capacity of the thickest cable in Ala Industrial and of direct contact alike. The control screen offers an on/off switch, LV/MV/HV presets of 32, 128, and 512 EU/t, a fine slider, and one hand-only slot that charges an electric tool or a battery at the item's own rate, whatever the slider says. In every other way Creative Energy Source is an ordinary block: hardness 3.0, blast resistance 6.0, mined with a pickaxe, drops itself, emits no light — deliberately breakable, so a test bench stays easy to rearrange.

How to test a power setup with the Creative Energy Source
-
1
Take the block from creative mode
Open the Ala Industrial creative tab or use the give command — Creative Energy Source has no crafting recipe in survival by design.
-
2
Place the block and switch it on
Set Creative Energy Source on your test bench and open the screen with a right-click, then flip the switch to on.
-
3
Set the output
Pick an LV, MV or HV preset for 32, 128 or 512 EU/t, or drag the slider to any exact value between 32 and 8192 EU/t in 32 EU/t steps.
-
4
Connect the consumers
Run a cable from Creative Energy Source to your machines, or set the machines directly against Creative Energy Source — the figure you set is the total shared by all consumers each tick.
-
5
Charge gear in the side slot
Drop an electric tool or a battery into the right-hand slot — each charges at the rate the gear itself accepts, and hoppers and pipes cannot reach the slot.
A switched-off Creative Energy Source — or one with the output dialed to zero — disappears from the power grid entirely rather than deliver zero, and cables never wait on a dead source. Use the switch to isolate one section of a test bench without tearing out the wiring.

Frequently asked questions
How do you craft Creative Energy Source?
Creative Energy Source has no crafting recipe by design — a testing instrument must not enter survival progression. Take Creative Energy Source from the Ala Industrial creative tab, or use the give command to issue one.
Why does one machine draw no more than 512 EU/t from Creative Energy Source?
512 EU/t is the ceiling of a single receiver: no cable in Ala Industrial carries more, and direct contact transfers the same figure. Settings above 512 EU/t only pay off when several consumers draw from Creative Energy Source at once.
Does the set output apply to every machine around Creative Energy Source?
No. The figure on the slider is the total Creative Energy Source delivers per tick, and that total is shared between all connected consumers rather than paid to each one separately.
Does the charging slot work faster at a higher output?
No. The slot charges a tool or a battery at the rate the gear itself accepts, independent of the slider setting — and only a hand can reach the slot: hoppers and pipes fit neither direction.
Does Creative Energy Source work underground or in the Nether?
Yes. Creative Energy Source burns no fuel and checks no conditions: with the switch on and the output above zero, the energy flows underground, at night, in the rain, and in the Nether alike.
What tier does Creative Energy Source belong to?
None is fixed. The output sets the effective tier: 32 EU/t matches LV, 128 EU/t matches MV, and 512 EU/t matches HV, so one block can feed a whole mixed bench of LV, MV and HV machines.
