Uranium Ore
Uranium Ore is the rarest ore in Ala Industrial: roughly seven times rarer than diamond, it spawns near bedrock and needs an iron pickaxe.
Description
Processing follows the tin pattern. A furnace or blast furnace smelts the Raw Uranium — or the ore block itself — into a single ingot, while the Macerator doubles the take: grinding the ore or the raw material costs 300 EU and produces two Uranium Dust, and the Electric Furnace smelts each dust for another 200 EU, for two ingots per ore. Uranium dust has no vanilla furnace recipe, so the Electric Furnace is the only way to smelt it. Even before the nuclear branch arrives, Uranium Ore has real consumers: the dust crafts Enriched Uranium Torches — one dust, one coal and a stick make four —, three uranium ingots form the bottom row of the Teleporter, and the Incubator burns one ingot as an irradiation charge that covers three mutation attempts and leaves depleted uranium behind. Spare ingots sell to the industrialist villager at two per emerald, and enrichment, RTG and reactor machines are planned for later phases.

How to get and process Uranium Ore in Minecraft
-
1
Mine near bedrock
Uranium Ore generates between Y −64 and Y 16 in veins of up to four blocks, about one vein per chunk. The trapezoid distribution concentrates the ore at the bottom, so branch-mine as low as you can.
-
2
Bring an iron pickaxe
Wooden, golden and stone pickaxes break Uranium Ore about 3.3 times slower and drop nothing. An iron pickaxe or better drops one Raw Uranium per block — Fortune multiplies it, Silk Touch gives the ore block itself.
-
3
Smelt for one ingot
A furnace or blast furnace turns Raw Uranium, the ore block or the deepslate variant into one uranium ingot — the quick route before any machines are built.
-
4
Double it in the Macerator
Grinding the ore block or raw material in the Macerator costs 300 EU and yields two Uranium Dust. Smelt each dust in the Electric Furnace for 200 EU to turn one ore into two ingots.
-
5
Spend the uranium
Craft Enriched Uranium Torches from the dust, put three ingots into a Teleporter, or let the Incubator use one ingot as an irradiation charge covering three mutation attempts.
Enrichment, the RTG and the reactor arrive in later phases of Ala Industrial — Uranium Ore is reserved for the nuclear track, so stockpiling ingots now pays off later.

Frequently asked questions
Where does Uranium Ore spawn in Ala Industrial?
Between Y −64 and Y 16, in veins of up to four blocks, at roughly one vein per chunk — about seven times rarer than diamond. Below Y 0 the ore appears in a deepslate form.
What pickaxe do you need to mine Uranium Ore?
An iron pickaxe or better. Wooden, golden and stone pickaxes break the block about 3.3 times slower and drop nothing — uranium sits one tier above the mod's other ores.
How do you get two ingots from one Uranium Ore?
Grind the ore block or Raw Uranium in the Macerator for 300 EU into two Uranium Dust, then smelt each dust in the Electric Furnace for 200 EU. Smelting the ore directly yields only one ingot.
Can a regular furnace smelt uranium dust?
No. Uranium dust has no vanilla furnace recipe — only the Electric Furnace can smelt it, at 200 EU per ingot.
What is uranium used for in Ala Industrial?
The dust crafts Enriched Uranium Torches, three ingots go into the Teleporter, and the Incubator spends one ingot as an irradiation charge covering three mutation attempts. The nuclear branch — enrichment, RTG, reactor — arrives in later phases.
