Uranium Ingot
Uranium Ingot is the smelted form of uranium and the fuel that powers Ala Industrial's Incubator, the machine that mutates items.
Description
The Uranium Ingot is consumed rather than displayed: one ingot buys three mutation attempts in the Incubator (the irradiation chamber that duplicates, transforms, or creates items according to the installed chip) and burns out into depleted uranium, the feedstock for the mod's planned nuclear branch. The ingot also stamps into a uranium plate in the Compressor (260 EU) for machine recipes, appears in the Teleporter's recipe, and two ingots can be sold to the industrialist villager for one emerald. Because uranium is finite and the Incubator cannot duplicate it, treat every Uranium Ingot as a strategic resource and plan your mutation runs around the fuel you can actually supply.

How to get and use a Uranium Ingot in Ala Industrial
-
1
Mine uranium ore with an iron pickaxe
Uranium spawns near the bottom of the world in tiny veins about seven times rarer than diamond; bring an iron pickaxe or better, because wood, gold, and stone drop nothing.
-
2
Smelt raw uranium into an ingot
Pop the raw uranium into a furnace (200 EU in the Electric Furnace) for one Uranium Ingot, or grind the ore first to double the yield.
-
3
Double the yield in the Macerator
Grinding a uranium ore block or raw uranium in the Macerator gives two uranium dust (300 EU), and each dust smelts into its own ingot.
-
4
Fuel the Incubator or stamp a plate
Drop one Uranium Ingot into the Incubator for three mutation attempts (it becomes depleted uranium), or compress it into a uranium plate at 260 EU.

Frequently asked questions
How do you get a Uranium Ingot in Ala Industrial?
Smelt raw uranium, uranium ore, or uranium dust in a furnace or the Electric Furnace (200 EU). Grinding ore or raw uranium in the Macerator first doubles the yield to two ingots per ore.
Is uranium renewable?
No. Uranium ore is finite world generation, and the Incubator has no recipe to duplicate uranium, so every Uranium Ingot has to be mined and smelted.
What is the Uranium Ingot used for?
One ingot buys three mutation attempts in the Incubator and becomes depleted uranium, it stamps into a uranium plate in the Compressor, and it appears in the Teleporter recipe.
What pickaxe do you need for uranium ore?
An iron pickaxe or better. Uranium is the only mod ore that requires the iron tier — wood, gold, and stone pickaxes drop nothing.
Does uranium work on Bedrock Edition?
No. Ala Industrial is a Java Edition mod for Minecraft 26.2 on Fabric or NeoForge, so there is no Bedrock version of the Uranium Ingot.
Can you sell uranium ingots to villagers?
Yes. The industrialist villager buys two uranium ingots for one emerald at tier 3, up to 12 times before the trade locks.
