Description

Deepslate Uranium Ore is the deepslate-hosted form of uranium ore in the Ala Industrial mod for Minecraft 26.2 (Java Edition) — the rarest ore in the mod and the starting point of its nuclear line. Uranium generates in the Overworld between Y −64 and 16 in a bottom-heavy spread, in tiny veins of up to five blocks and roughly one vein per chunk, which makes uranium about seven times rarer than diamond. Where the surrounding rock turns to deepslate, the same generation leaves Deepslate Uranium Ore — a noticeably tougher block with a hardness of 4.5 against 3.0 for the stone variant, and a blast resistance of 3.0.

Unlike the mod's other ores, Deepslate Uranium Ore requires an iron pickaxe or better: wooden, golden and stone pickaxes break the block with no drop. Each block drops one Raw Uranium — Fortune multiplies the drop, and Silk Touch returns the ore block itself. A furnace smelts the ore or the raw into one Uranium Ingot, while the Macerator grinds the ore block or the Raw Uranium into two Uranium Dust for 300 EU, and every dust smelts into another ingot — the doubling route. The dust feeds the Enriched Uranium Torch, the ingot is part of the Teleporter recipe, and the Incubator spends one Uranium Ingot as an irradiation charge covering three mutation attempts and leaving Depleted Uranium behind; two ingots also trade to the industrialist villager for one emerald. The full nuclear branch — enrichment, RTG, reactor — arrives in later phases.

How to get uranium from Deepslate Uranium Ore in Ala Industrial

  1. 1

    Dig to the deepslate depths

Uranium generates between Y −64 and 16 with the densest spread at the bottom of the world, so branch-mine in the deepslate layers. Veins are tiny — up to five blocks — with roughly one vein per chunk.

  2. 2

    Mine with an iron pickaxe

Deepslate Uranium Ore has a hardness of 4.5 and needs an iron pickaxe or better; wooden, golden and stone pickaxes break the block with no drop.

  3. 3

Double the yield in the Macerator

Grind the ore block or the Raw Uranium into two Uranium Dust for 300 EU, then smelt each dust into a Uranium Ingot for 200 EU. A plain furnace gives only one ingot per ore.

  4. 4

    Spend the uranium

The dust crafts into an Enriched Uranium Torch, the ingot goes into the Teleporter, and the Incubator consumes one Uranium Ingot as an irradiation charge for three mutation attempts, leaving Depleted Uranium. Two ingots trade to the industrialist villager for one emerald.

Rarity tip

Uranium is about seven times rarer than diamond. Fortune multiplies the Raw Uranium drop and Silk Touch returns the block — both feed the Macerator equally, so Fortune raises the total yield.

Frequently asked questions

What pickaxe do you need for Deepslate Uranium Ore?

An iron pickaxe or better. Wooden, golden and stone pickaxes break Deepslate Uranium Ore with no drop, and they mine it about 3.3 times slower.

Where does Deepslate Uranium Ore generate?

Between Y −64 and 16 in the Overworld, densest near the bottom layers. Veins are tiny — up to five blocks — at roughly one vein per chunk, about seven times rarer than diamond.

How do you get two ingots from one uranium ore?

Use the Macerator: it grinds the ore block or the Raw Uranium into two Uranium Dust for 300 EU, and each dust smelts into a Uranium Ingot. The plain furnace route yields a single ingot per ore.

What is uranium used for in Ala Industrial?

Uranium Dust crafts into the Enriched Uranium Torch, the Uranium Ingot is part of the Teleporter recipe, and the Incubator spends one ingot as an irradiation charge for three mutation attempts, leaving Depleted Uranium. Two ingots also trade to the industrialist villager for one emerald.

Do Fortune and Silk Touch work on Deepslate Uranium Ore?

Yes. Fortune multiplies the Raw Uranium drop, and Silk Touch returns the ore block itself. Both the raw item and the block grind into two dust in the Macerator, so Fortune raises the total yield.

Is Deepslate Uranium Ore renewable?

No. Deepslate Uranium Ore generates only at world creation, and every mined vein is gone for good; no craft or farm in the mod produces uranium.
