Tempered Iron Plating is a decorative building block assembled from exactly 4 Tempered Iron Plates in the Ala Industrial mod for Minecraft 26.2 (Java Edition, playable on Fabric and NeoForge). Its texture is a futuristic tech panel with a screen and lines, which gives the tempered-iron plate a construction role as high-tech cladding. The crafting cycle is strictly reversible: place 4 plates in a 2×2 square for one block, then put the block alone anywhere in the crafting grid to unpack exactly 4 plates — net zero, no loss, as often as you like. The block itself is a solid metal cube at the level of vanilla iron: hardness 5, blast resistance 6, metallic sound, and it drops itself when mined with a pickaxe of any tier.

Tempered Iron Plating carries no mechanic at all — no energy, no internal logic, no machine recipes — so it is free to place wherever the look matters: control rooms, reactor halls, futuristic interiors. Every plate behind it starts as a Tempered Iron ingot smelted 1:1 from vanilla iron (hammer it with the 128-durability Forge Hammer, 1 per plate, or press it in the Compressor for 260 EU), which makes the whole block renewable through iron golem farms.
