Tempered Iron Hoe is the farming tool of Ala Industrial's tempered iron line, crafted from two tempered iron ingots and two sticks on a workbench in the vanilla hoe pattern. Tempered Iron Hoe turns dirt and grass blocks into farmland at mining speed 7.0, slightly faster than a vanilla iron hoe, and carries the iron mining level, so diamond ore, obsidian, and ancient debris stay out of reach. The tool lasts for 350 durability, exactly 100 uses more than an iron hoe, and needs no energy, wearing down through ordinary use instead.

As a full vanilla hoe, Tempered Iron Hoe harvests crop-type blocks and deals 1.5 attack damage against 1.0 for the iron hoe. An enchanting table accepts Efficiency, Unbreaking, Fortune, Silk Touch, and Mending for Tempered Iron Hoe, and the material's enchantability of 16 catches those enchantments a little better than iron's 14. When durability runs low, Tempered Iron Hoe repairs at an anvil with a single tempered iron ingot, the same material smelted one-to-one from a vanilla iron ingot. For large farms, Ala Industrial also offers the Electric Hoe, which tills for 50 EU per block from a 10,000 EU buffer instead of durability.
