Raw Sulfur
Raw sulfur is the yellow chunk dropped by sulfur ore, ground into sulfur dust that vulcanizes rubber in Ala Industrial.
Description
The main processing path grinds one raw sulfur into two sulfur dust in the Macerator for 300 EU, doubling the yield; a furnace instead produces a single dust with no doubling. Four sulfur dust then combine with one raw rubber in the Vulcanizer to make rubber, the material for insulated cables. Sulfur is a non-metal with no ingot form, so dust is its final stage, and because the ore is finite world generation, raw sulfur is not renewable.

How to get and process raw sulfur in Ala Industrial
-
1
Find sulfur ore
Look for sulfur ore in Overworld stone and deepslate between Y -32 and 32; it is rarer than tin but more common than silver.
-
2
Mine with a stone pickaxe
Break sulfur ore with a stone pickaxe or better to drop raw sulfur. Fortune multiplies the drop, while Silk Touch yields the ore block instead.
-
3
Macerate for double dust
Process one raw sulfur in the Macerator for 300 EU to output two sulfur dust — the doubling route that maximizes yield.
-
4
Or smelt in a furnace
Alternatively, smelt raw sulfur in a furnace to get one sulfur dust, a machine-free path that does not double the output.
-
5
Vulcanize into rubber
Combine four sulfur dust with one raw rubber in the Vulcanizer to produce rubber, used to insulate copper cables.
Sulfur is a non-metal, so raw sulfur has no ingot stage — sulfur dust is its final technological form in Ala Industrial.

Frequently asked questions
How do you get raw sulfur in Ala Industrial?
Mine sulfur ore in Overworld stone or deepslate with a stone pickaxe or better; it drops raw sulfur. Fortune multiplies the drop, and Silk Touch returns the ore block itself.
Macerator or furnace for raw sulfur?
The Macerator doubles one raw sulfur into two sulfur dust for 300 EU, while a furnace yields only one dust. The Macerator is the better processing route.
What is raw sulfur used for?
Raw sulfur is processed into sulfur dust, four of which combine with one raw rubber in the Vulcanizer to produce rubber for insulated cables.
Is raw sulfur renewable?
No. Sulfur ore is finite world generation, so raw sulfur cannot be renewed or farmed.
Does raw sulfur have an ingot form?
No. Sulfur is a non-metal, so there is no sulfur ingot — sulfur dust is the final form after macerating or smelting raw sulfur.
Where does sulfur ore spawn?
Sulfur ore generates in the Overworld between Y -32 and 32, rarer than tin but more common than silver.
