Description

The Overclocker Chip II is the second-tier speed upgrade in Ala Industrial, inserted into the overclocker arm of a machine's upgrade panel — the top slot marked with a double-arrow hint. One machine holds exactly one overclocker: tiers I, II and III are three separate items. Tier II shortens every operation to 64% of its base length and quadruples the EU drawn per tick. A macerator grinds ore in 96 ticks instead of 150 (a 1.56× speed-up) but pulls 8 EU/t instead of 2, spending 768 EU per operation instead of 300. The chip itself stores no energy — it changes what the machine holding it draws.

Craft the chip at a workbench: an Overclocker Chip I in the centre, an Energy Clot II above it, and one gold ingot each on the left, right and below — three gold ingots in total. The clot is the real gate: it comes only from the Energy Condenser out of grid surplus, so the upgrade is paid for by the power plant, not by ore. The incubator and the alloy smelter top out at tier II (32 EU/t), while ordinary 2 EU/t machines such as the macerator still feed tier II on starter copper cable (12 EU/t). The chip never changes recipes or output odds and does nothing in generators or the Energy Condenser. Hover the panel's gear tab to see the installed tier and both multipliers. The Overclocker Chip II works identically on Fabric and NeoForge for Minecraft 26.2.

How to craft and use an Overclocker Chip II in Minecraft

    Build tier I first

    Craft an Overclocker Chip I at a workbench from an Empty Chip, an Energy Clot I, redstone and gold ingots — tier II builds directly on it.

    Condense an Energy Clot II

    Feed grid surplus into the Energy Condenser until it releases a tier II clot; the condenser is the only source of clots.

    Assemble tier II

    In a 3×3 workbench grid place the Overclocker Chip I in the centre, the Energy Clot II above it and one gold ingot each on the left, right and below.

    Open the upgrade panel

    Right-click the machine and find the top slot marked with a double arrow — that arm of the panel accepts only an overclocker chip.

    Check the power draw

    Hover the gear tab of the panel: the tooltip shows tier II with 64% operation length and 4× EU/t, so make sure the cable can feed the machine.

Important

The alloy smelter and the incubator cap at tier II — a tier III chip sits in their slot but runs as tier II.
