Description

Energy Clot II is the middle tier of the three clot items in Ala Industrial — surplus power the Energy Condenser freezes solid instead of letting the grid's leftover electricity go to waste. The tier-II clot appears in the condenser's output slot only once its bank has reached 1,000,000 EU: four times the 250,000 EU price of tier I, a quarter of the bank's 4,000,000 ceiling, and as much energy as two full Teleporter buffers hold. Timing decides everything, because the tier is fixed by how full the bank is at the moment of extraction. At 950,000 EU the slot still holds a tier-I clot — take it now and the 700,000 above its price burn; wait for the million and the very same slot hands you Energy Clot II. Taking it, by hand, hopper or pipe, resets the bank to zero however full it was.
The item itself is a material, not a battery — the EU are spent the moment it forms, it cannot power a machine, and no recipe breaks it back down into energy. Energy Clot II has exactly one consumer: the Overclocker Chip II, assembled on a crafting table from the clot, an Overclocker Chip I and three gold ingots. The chips stack in a ladder, so the full machine-speed branch eventually swallows one clot of every tier, and its second step runs a machine at 1.56x speed — a macerator grind drops from 150 to 96 ticks — while the draw rises to 8 EU/t. The condenser accepts up to 128 EU/t of leftover power (one MV packet) and banks only surplus a hungry grid would waste anyway. Energy Clot II belongs to Ala Industrial for Minecraft 26.2 (Java Edition) and works identically on Fabric and NeoForge.

How to get Energy Clot II in Minecraft

  1. 1

    Generate surplus power

Energy Clot II only appears when your grid produces more than the machines consume; on a hungry network the Energy Condenser banks nothing at all. Solar panels, wind mills and fuel generators all work.

  2. 2

Let the bank grow to 1,000,000 EU

The Energy Condenser accepts up to 128 EU/t of leftover power (one MV packet) from above and below, banking it toward the next clot.

  3. 3

Do not grab the clot too early

At 250,000 EU the output slot already holds a tier-I clot. Taking it at, say, 950,000 banked EU burns the 700,000 above its price — wait for the full million and the slot upgrades to Energy Clot II.

  4. 4

Extract and let the bank reset

Pull the clot by hand, hopper or pipe. The bank zeroes completely however full it was, and saving toward the next clot starts over.

  5. 5

    Craft the Overclocker Chip II

Place Energy Clot II on top of a crafting table recipe, an Overclocker Chip I in the middle and three gold ingots around them — the result is the chip that runs machines at 1.56x speed.

Scale beats upgrades

The clot tier is fixed by the bank level at the moment of extraction, and no upgrade speeds clot growth — only more condensers and thicker wiring bring tier II faster.

Frequently asked questions

How do you get Energy Clot II in Ala Industrial?

Let an Energy Condenser bank 1,000,000 EU of surplus power; the tier-II clot then appears in its output slot. That condenser is the only source in the mod.

Can you craft Energy Clot II?

No. No tier of clot has a crafting recipe, and there is no reverse recipe either — a clot can never be broken back down into EU.

Is Energy Clot II a battery?

No. The EU are spent at the moment the clot forms. The item is a crafting material and cannot power a machine.

What happens if I take the clot at 950,000 banked EU?

You receive a tier-I clot, and the 700,000 EU above its 250,000 price burn. The tier always matches the bank level at the moment of extraction.

What is Energy Clot II used for?

Exactly one recipe: the Overclocker Chip II, assembled from the clot, an Overclocker Chip I and three gold ingots. That chip runs machines at 1.56x speed for four times the EU/t draw.

Does taking a clot empty the condenser?

Yes. Extraction by hand, hopper or pipe resets the bank to zero, however full it was when you pulled the clot.
