Description

Energy Clot III is the top tier of the three clot items in Ala Industrial — the densest portion of surplus power an Energy Condenser can ever hand you. The clot appears in the condenser's output slot only once its bank has reached 4,000,000 EU: four times the tier II threshold, the exact ceiling of the bank, and as much energy as eight full Teleporter buffers hold. The item itself is a material, not a battery — the EU are spent at the moment the clot forms, it cannot power a machine, and no recipe breaks it back down into energy.
Exactly one crafting recipe consumes Energy Clot III: Overclocker Chip III, assembled on a crafting table from the clot, an Overclocker Chip II and three gold ingots. The chips stack in a ladder, so the full machine-speed branch eventually swallows one clot of every tier, and its third step makes a machine finish almost twice as fast while each operation costs roughly four times the energy. Getting the clot is a matter of patience and surplus: the condenser accepts up to 128 EU/t of leftover power (one MV packet), the tier is decided by how full the bank is at the moment of extraction, and taking the clot resets the bank to zero. Energy Clot III belongs to Ala Industrial for Minecraft 26.2 (Java Edition) and works identically on Fabric and NeoForge.

How to get Energy Clot III in Minecraft

  1. 1

Place an Energy Condenser on a powered line

The condenser collects only leftover power: the network serves it after every machine, and it never feeds energy back, so it belongs on a line that already produces more than its machines draw.

  2. 2

    Feed it real surplus

One condenser accepts up to 128 EU/t of leftover power (one MV packet). Grow generation until the machines leave that much spare, because a hungry grid banks nothing at all.

  3. 3

Let the bank climb to 4,000,000 EU

The clot tier is decided by the bank at the moment of extraction: 250,000 EU yields tier I, 1,000,000 EU yields tier II, and only a full bank of 4,000,000 EU yields Energy Clot III.

  4. 4

Take the clot from the output slot

Pull it out by hand, hopper or pipe. The extraction resets the bank to zero however full it was, so an early pickup burns everything banked above the threshold.

  5. 5

    Craft the Overclocker Chip III

On a crafting table put the Energy Clot III in the top middle, an Overclocker Chip II in the centre, and three gold ingots on the left, right and bottom middle.

Not a battery

Energy Clot III never gives EU back. The energy was spent when the clot formed, so the item works only as the ingredient of the third overclocker step.

Frequently asked questions

Can you craft Energy Clot III?

No. No crafting recipe exists for any clot tier — the only source is the output slot of an Energy Condenser whose bank has reached 4,000,000 EU.

Does Energy Clot III store energy?

No. The EU are spent at the moment the clot forms: it cannot power machines and cannot be converted back into EU. It is purely a crafting material.

What is Energy Clot III used for?

Exactly one recipe — Overclocker Chip III, made from the clot, an Overclocker Chip II and three gold ingots. It is the third and final step of the machine-speed branch.

What happens if you take the clot too early?

The tier matches the bank at the moment of extraction, and the extraction wipes the bank completely. Take a clot at 3,000,000 EU and you receive tier II while the rest of the bank burns.

Is tier III the highest clot tier?

Yes. The 4,000,000 EU threshold equals the condenser bank's ceiling, so no denser clot can exist — Ala Industrial has exactly three clot tiers.

Does Energy Clot III exist on Bedrock?

No. Ala Industrial is a Java Edition mod for Minecraft 26.2; the clot behaves identically on Fabric and NeoForge.
