Description

Uran Enriched Cell is the re-enriched uranium fuel component produced inside a Breeder Nuclear Reactor in IndustrialCraft 2. A player loads a Depleted Isotope Cell — itself assembled from a Near-Depleted Uranium Cell and Coal Dust — into a hot, actively running breeder reactor, and after sustained heat exposure the depleted cell converts into a Uran Enriched Cell. This conversion is the heart of IndustrialCraft 2's breeder-reactor mechanic, where surplus reactor heat is deliberately channelled to breed new fuel instead of being discarded as waste.

Once enriched, the Uran Enriched Cell combines with Coal Dust in a crafting grid to yield a fresh Uranium Cell, the standard fuel unit that powers a Nuclear Reactor to generate EU (IndustrialCraft 2's energy unit). Because each spent Uranium Cell leaves behind Near-Depleted Uranium Cells that re-enter the breeding loop, the Uran Enriched Cell makes reactor fuel renewable (producible indefinitely from a small starting stock of uranium) rather than a one-time consumable. The Uran Enriched Cell belongs to the legacy IndustrialCraft 2 Classic reactor system on Minecraft 1.6.4 and 1.7.10; newer IC2 Experimental builds replaced it with the Enriched Uranium Nuclear Fuel and Fuel Rod (Uranium) chain.
