EU-Splitter Cable
EU-Splitter Cable is an Industrial Craft 2 power cable that stops EU (the mod's energy unit) from flowing while a redstone signal is applied.
Description
In automated setups, EU-Splitter Cable works with a Detector Cable and latch-type redstone gates to switch storage blocks on overflow or depletion without player input. Unlike a Detector Cable, EU-Splitter Cable still interacts with redstone under a coat of Construction Foam, but only before the foam has dried. For manual control, players apply a redstone signal to stop energy delivery and cut the signal to let EU flow again.

Collect the ingredients
Gather two HV Cables, one Lever, and two Redstone Dust for one EU-Splitter Cable.

Place the Redstone Dust
Open a crafting table and put one Redstone Dust in the top-middle cell and the second Redstone Dust in the bottom-middle cell of the 3×3 grid.

Fill the middle row
Set one HV Cable in the left-middle cell, the Lever in the center cell, and the second HV Cable in the right-middle cell.

Craft and place the cable
Take the EU-Splitter Cable from the output slot and insert EU-Splitter Cable into the power line that needs switching.

Connect the redstone control
Run a redstone signal to the EU-Splitter Cable: an active signal stops EU from passing, and cutting the signal lets EU flow again.
EU-Splitter Cable accepts only a direct redstone current, so run the redstone wiring straight to the cable.
