How to use the Single-Use Battery in Minecraft
-
1
Gather materials
Collect 4 Redstone Dust and 1 Tin Ingot — Tin is mined with a Stone Pickaxe at Y-levels 30-70 in IC2 1.7.10 / 1.12.2 worlds.
-
2
Craft the battery
Place the 4 Redstone Dust and 1 Tin Ingot in a crafting grid in any layout to produce 1 Single-Use Battery (shapeless recipe).
-
3
Insert into a tool
Open the inventory of a Mining Drill, Chainsaw, or Electric Wrench and drop the Single-Use Battery into its battery slot.
-
4
Use the 1,200 EU
The tool consumes EU per action until the Single-Use Battery is empty, at which point the battery item is destroyed.
-
5
Do not try to recharge
Never place the Single-Use Battery into a BatBox, MFE, or MFSU — it cannot be recharged and will simply sit there.
