Description
Electric Treetap is a Tier 1 (LV) powered tool from the Industrial Craft 2 mod for Minecraft 1.12.2, used to harvest Sticky Resin from Rubber Trees. Electric Treetap stores roughly 10,000 EU in an internal buffer and consumes about 50 EU per extraction, giving a much higher yield chance than the manual Treetap. Players right-click Electric Treetap on the orange wet rubber spot on a Rubber Tree trunk to collect 1 Sticky Resin, which can be smelted into 1 Rubber or processed in the IC2 Extractor for 3 Rubber. Rubber is the core insulator for Insulated Copper Cables, RE-Batteries, and most early-game IC2 wiring, so Electric Treetap directly accelerates electrical progression. Recharging Electric Treetap works in any LV charging device: BatBox, Generator, MFE, MFSU, or Charging Bench. Unlike the manual Treetap, Electric Treetap does not wear down on durability and never needs replacement crafting.
