Description
Electric Treetap is a Tier 1 (LV) powered tool from the Industrial Craft 2 mod for Minecraft 1.12.2, used to harvest Sticky Resin from Rubber Trees. Electric Treetap stores 10,000 EU in an internal buffer and, unlike the manual Treetap, never wears out. Players right-click Electric Treetap on the orange wet resin spot on a Rubber Tree trunk to collect 1 to 3 Sticky Resin, which can be smelted into 1 Rubber or processed in the IC2 Extractor for 3 Rubber. Rubber insulates copper and tin cables — including the insulated tin cable from the RE-Battery recipe — so Electric Treetap directly accelerates early IC2 electrical progression. Recharging Electric Treetap works in the charging slot of a BatBox, Generator, MFE, or MFSU, or directly from a charged battery in hand. A harvested wet spot turns dry and becomes wet again over time, so the same Rubber Tree keeps producing resin. Electric Treetap is a held tool, not a placed block, so it occupies an inventory slot rather than a world position.
