How to use the CFoam Backpack in Minecraft (IndustrialCraft 2)
-
1
Fill the backpack with pellets
Open the CFoam Backpack inventory and load it with stacks of Construction Foam Pellets so the sprayer always has a reserve to draw from.
-
2
Equip it in the chest slot
Place the CFoam Backpack in your chest armor slot, the same slot a chestplate uses, so it stays active while you work.
-
3
Hold the CF Sprayer
Take a CF Sprayer in your hand; while the backpack is worn it pulls pellets from it automatically whenever the sprayer runs low.
-
4
Spray Construction Foam
Right-click cables or blocks to spray foam; it hardens into a blast-resistant block, and the backpack keeps the sprayer loaded without manual reloads.
The CFoam Backpack only refills the CF Sprayer while it is worn in the chest slot. Carrying it loose in your inventory does nothing.

Frequently asked questions
What does the CFoam Backpack do in IndustrialCraft 2?
The CFoam Backpack stores Construction Foam Pellets and automatically refills a CF Sprayer while worn, letting you spray foam continuously.
Which slot does the CFoam Backpack go in?
It is worn in the chest armor slot, the same place as a chestplate, and only refills the sprayer while equipped there.
Do you still need a CF Sprayer?
Yes. The CFoam Backpack only holds pellets; the CF Sprayer is the tool that actually sprays Construction Foam onto blocks and cables.
What is Construction Foam used for?
Sprayed foam hardens into a cheap, blast-resistant block that protects machines, hides cables, and seals off areas in IndustrialCraft 2.
