Bronze Tank
Bronze Tank stores up to 32,000 mB (32 buckets) of any fluid in IndustrialCraft 2, built from bronze and Universal Fluid Cells on a crafting table.
Description
Bronze Tank works as the standard buffer for early IndustrialCraft 2 fluid systems such as fermented biomass lines, lava generators, and coolant loops. Players break a Bronze Tank with a wrench — the tank's listed tool — and drain the stored fluid first, so 32 buckets of lava survive relocation without losses. Bronze Tank is outclassed by the Steel Tank at 128,000 mB and the Iridium Tank at 1,024,000 mB, but the 32,000 mB capacity covers most early and mid-game fluid needs at a fraction of the material cost. Builders typically place a Bronze Tank next to a Geothermal Generator or Fermenter and forget about refills for long stretches.

IndustrialCraft 2 Guide
How to use a Bronze Tank in IndustrialCraft 2
-
1
Craft the Bronze Tank
Place four Bronze in the four corners of a crafting table and four Universal Fluid Cells on the edge slots, leaving the center empty, to produce one Bronze Tank.
-
2
Place the tank and connect pipes
Set the Bronze Tank on a solid block and connect fluid pipes or an adjacent machine so the tank can receive or release fluid automatically.
-
3
Fill the tank
Pump fluid in from a Pump, Fluid Pipe, or a machine with a fluid ejector upgrade until the 32,000 mB capacity reads full on the tank gauge.
-
4
Pick up the tank with a wrench
Drain the stored fluid first, then break the Bronze Tank with a wrench instead of a pickaxe to pick it up safely.
IndustrialCraft 2 is a Java Edition mod, so Bronze Tank does not exist in Bedrock Edition. Bronze Tank is the smallest of the four tank tiers, followed by Iron, Steel, and Iridium.

Frequently asked questions
How much fluid does a Bronze Tank hold in IndustrialCraft 2?
Bronze Tank holds 32,000 mB, which equals 32 buckets — the same capacity as the Iron Tank and one quarter of the Steel Tank.
How do you craft a Bronze Tank?
Place four Bronze in the corners of a crafting table and four Universal Fluid Cells on the edge slots, leaving the center empty, to make one Bronze Tank.
What tool should you use to break a Bronze Tank?
A wrench, the Bronze Tank's listed tool on the IC2 wiki. Drain the stored fluid before breaking it — whether a broken tank keeps its fluid is not documented.
Is Bronze Tank available in Bedrock Edition?
No. Bronze Tank is an IndustrialCraft 2 block, and IndustrialCraft 2 is a Java Edition mod, so Bronze Tank has no Bedrock Edition version.
What fluids can a Bronze Tank store?
Bronze Tank stores any IndustrialCraft 2 or compatible fluid, including water, lava, biomass, biogas, and coolant, up to the 32,000 mB limit.
How does Bronze Tank compare to the other IC2 tanks?
Bronze Tank holds 32,000 mB, the same as the Iron Tank, while the Steel Tank holds 128,000 mB and the Iridium Tank holds 1,024,000 mB.
