Bronze Tank is the entry-level fluid storage block from IndustrialCraft 2, holding 32,000 mB (32 buckets) of any fluid such as water, lava, or biomass. Players craft one Bronze Tank from four Bronze Plates arranged in the corners and five Universal Fluid Cells in a cross pattern on a crafting table, yielding one tank per recipe. Bronze itself is an alloy of three copper dust and one tin dust, so Bronze Tank production chains back through the macerator and metal former. Bronze Tank accepts fluids from adjacent pipes, pumps, or machines equipped with fluid ejector upgrades, and releases fluid through pipes or fluid-pulling upgrades on the same principle.

Bronze Tank works as the standard buffer for early IndustrialCraft 2 fluid systems such as fermented biomass lines, lava generators, and coolant loops. A Bronze Tank keeps its stored fluid when a player breaks the block with a wrench, so 32 buckets of lava can be relocated without losing volume. Bronze Tank is outclassed by the Steel Tank at 128,000 mB and the Iridium Tank at 1,024,000 mB, but the 32,000 mB capacity covers most early and mid-game fluid needs at a fraction of the material cost. Builders typically place a Bronze Tank next to a Geothermal Generator or Fermenter and forget about refills for long stretches.
