Description

Fuel Oil is the heavy bottom fraction of oil distillation in the Ala Industrial mod for Minecraft 26.2. Every bucket of Oil processed by the Distillation Column splits into 700 mB of Diesel and 200 mB of Fuel Oil, and the thick dark-brown residue runs down into the column's bottom tank, which holds 10,000 mB. In the world Fuel Oil behaves exactly like water: the fluid spreads, never catches fire, and harms nothing — scoop it with an empty bucket, a Vacuum Capsule, or a third Pump at the tower's base. Fuel Oil never generates naturally and cannot be crafted, so the Distillation Column is its only source.

The residue is cheap fuel by design. Fuel Oil holds 6,000 EU per bucket at 6 EU/t — half of Diesel from the same distillation — and already carries the c:combustion_fuels tag reserved for the liquid fuel generator planned in the mod's oil branch. The working outlet today is the Rectification Section: 1,000 mB of Fuel Oil plus 400 EU returns 600 mB of Diesel, turning 6,000 EU of residue into 7,200 EU of the stronger fuel. Mind the tower's pace, too — Fuel Oil accumulates on its own while Diesel distills, and once the 10,000 mB bottom tank fills, the whole column pauses until the residue is drained.

How to get and use Fuel Oil in Minecraft

  1. 1

    Distill a bucket of Oil

Feed 1,000 mB of Oil to the Distillation Column; a run costing 400 EU leaves 700 mB of Diesel in the top tank and 200 mB of Fuel Oil in the bottom one.

  2. 2

    Drain the bottom tank

Fuel Oil piles up while Diesel distills, and a full 10,000 mB tank halts the tower — set a Pump at the column's base or drop an empty bucket into the fuel-oil slot.

  3. 3

    Handle it like water

Fuel Oil spreads, never ignites, and harms nothing, so plain tanks and buckets store it safely with no fire precautions.

  4. 4

    Convert or bank it

Re-distill 1,000 mB of Fuel Oil in the Rectification Section with 400 EU for 600 mB of Diesel, or bank the residue as fuel worth 6,000 EU per bucket under the c:combustion_fuels tag.

A full tank stops the tower

The Distillation Column pauses distillation once its 10,000 mB fuel-oil tank fills; draining the residue into a side tank resumes production.

Frequently asked questions

How do you get Fuel Oil in Ala Industrial?

Only by distilling Oil: the Distillation Column turns 1,000 mB of Oil plus 400 EU into 700 mB of Diesel and 200 mB of Fuel Oil, which collects in the bottom tank.

Is Fuel Oil renewable?

No. Fuel Oil comes from Oil, and every Oil deposit in Ala Industrial is finite — scooped source blocks never regenerate, so the residue supply ends with the deposit.

Does Fuel Oil burn or deal damage?

Neither. Fuel Oil behaves like water: it spreads, never ignites, and is harmless to walk through — unlike Oil itself, which catches fire from neighboring flames.

What is Fuel Oil worth as fuel?

6,000 EU per bucket at 6 EU/t — half of Diesel's 12,000 EU. The fluid carries the c:combustion_fuels tag prepared for the liquid fuel generator planned in the mod's oil branch.

Can you turn Fuel Oil back into Diesel?

Yes. The Rectification Section converts 1,000 mB of Fuel Oil plus 400 EU into 600 mB of Diesel — 6,000 EU of residue becomes 7,200 EU of stronger fuel.

Why did my Distillation Column stop?

A full bottom tank is the usual cause: Fuel Oil accumulates while Diesel distills, and the tower pauses until you drain the 10,000 mB tank with a Pump or an empty bucket.
