Energy Crystal Blank
Energy Crystal Blank is the craftable shell of the Energy Crystal in the Ala Industrial mod: it absorbs 100,000 EU in any charge slot at up to 128 EU/t.
Description
Once the buffer is full — about 39 seconds in a Reinforced Energy Storage slot at full speed — Energy Crystal Blank disappears and leaves the finished Energy Crystal in its place, a plain item with no charge bar that exists purely as a crafting material. Every charger works: a Battery Box slot, a Reinforced Energy Storage slot, a Charging Station, a worn Energy Pack, a right-click transfer from a Battery, even another mod's charger, because the blank exposes its energy on both Fabric and NeoForge. The finished crystal then heads into the Lapotron Crystal Blank and other MV recipes, so charge Energy Crystal Blank in batches while the rest of the base keeps running.

How to turn an Energy Crystal Blank into an Energy Crystal

Craft the blank
Assemble four diamond dust in the corners, four redstone along the edges and one tempered iron in the center of a crafting table; the grid yields one Energy Crystal Blank.

Place the blank in a charge slot
Drop Energy Crystal Blank into the charge slot of a Battery Box, a Reinforced Energy Storage or a Charging Station; a worn Energy Pack fills it too.

Feed it 100,000 EU
Energy Crystal Blank accepts up to 128 EU per tick, so a Reinforced Energy Storage slot finishes the charge in about 39 seconds; slower chargers simply take longer.

Collect the finished crystal
Take the finished Energy Crystal out of the slot once the buffer hits 100,000 EU; the blank is spent and the crystal holds no charge at all.
Energy Crystal Blank accepts energy but never gives it back, and the item stacks to 1. The 100,000 EU are the manufacturing price of the crystal, not stored power, so plan the charging session before crafting a batch.
