Electromagnet
Electromagnet is the Ala Industrial EU-powered item that pulls loose dropped items within a 5-block radius toward the player every tick.
Description
Crafting one Electromagnet takes 1 redstone, 1 lapis lazuli, 4 iron ingots, 1 copper coil, and 1 electronic circuit on a 3×3 table, with redstone and lapis lazuli across the top and the circuit and coil down the left column. A single scan pass moves up to 64 items at 0.55 blocks per tick, so a dense drop field clears in seconds; shift-right-click toggles the pull on or off with a copper-bulb click. A Battery Box charge slot or a worn Energy Pack refills the 5000 EU buffer in about 8 seconds (156 ticks). The Electromagnet has no durability, does not stack, and runs identically on Fabric and NeoForge for Minecraft 26.2 Java Edition.

How to use the Electromagnet in Minecraft
-
1
Craft the Electromagnet
Combine 1 redstone, 1 lapis lazuli, 4 iron ingots, 1 copper coil, and 1 electronic circuit on a 3×3 crafting table to produce one Electromagnet.
-
2
Charge the buffer
Place the Electromagnet in a Battery Box charge slot or wear an Energy Pack to refill the 5000 EU buffer at up to 32 EU/tick, taking about 8 seconds from empty.
-
3
Keep the item in any inventory slot
The Electromagnet works from the hotbar, main inventory, or off-hand, so the player never has to hold the item to pull drops.
-
4
Toggle the pull on or off
Shift-right-click the Electromagnet to switch the magnet off or back on; a fresh Electromagnet ships enabled and plays a copper-bulb click sound.
-
5
Watch the LV charge bar
A yellow bar shows remaining EU; at 0 EU the Electromagnet stops pulling until recharged, since each item moved costs 2 EU.
The Electromagnet skips items still on pickup delay and items sitting in lava, but vanilla collection still works once a drop reaches the player.

Frequently asked questions
How do you craft the Electromagnet?
Combine 1 redstone, 1 lapis lazuli, 4 iron ingots, 1 copper coil, and 1 electronic circuit on a 3×3 crafting table; one craft yields one Electromagnet.
How do you charge the Electromagnet?
Place the Electromagnet in a Battery Box charge slot or wear an Energy Pack. The 5000 EU buffer accepts up to 32 EU/tick and fills from empty in about 8 seconds.
How much EU does the Electromagnet cost per item?
Each item actually pulled costs 2 EU per scan tick. An idle scan with no drops in range costs nothing, so an empty room drains no EU.
Does the Electromagnet stack?
No. The Electromagnet does not stack, so each item takes its own inventory slot and only one needs charging at a time.
How do you turn the Electromagnet on or off?
Shift-right-click the Electromagnet to toggle the pull. A freshly crafted Electromagnet is enabled by default and plays a metallic click sound on each toggle.
What can the Electromagnet not pick up?
The Electromagnet cannot pull items still on pickup delay, items resting in lava, or items a player never picks up. Vanilla collection handles the final grab once a drop arrives.
