Diamond-Tipped Electric Shovel is the second tier of the Electric Shovel from the Ala Industrial mod for Minecraft 26.2 Java Edition — the fourth and last of the diamond-tip tool upgrades. Exactly two things change: dirt, sand, gravel, clay and snow dig at speed 10.5 instead of the base shovel's 9.0, and sneak + right-click switches a genuine Silk Touch mode on and off. The mining tier stays diamond, so the upgrade speeds up work rather than unlocking new blocks. Everything else is inherited: a 10 000 EU buffer holds about 500 blocks at 20 EU each, charging runs at up to 32 EU/t — the LV ceiling — in the Battery Box charge slot or from a worn Energy Pack, and there is no durability to wear down — the bar under the icon shows the EU charge, and an empty Diamond-Tipped Electric Shovel still digs at hand speed (1.0) with normal drops. Ala Industrial runs on the Fabric and NeoForge loaders.

Silk Touch mode is what builders craft the upgrade for: a grass block, podzol or mycelium drops itself instead of dirt, clay arrives as one block instead of four clay balls, gravel comes up as gravel instead of flint, and snow blocks with suspicious sand and gravel stay whole — the only way to move a finished lawn. Because the mode toggles instead of enchanting permanently, a Fortune shovel keeps multiplying flint while silk switches on only for the blocks worth keeping. The recipe fits a crafting table: three diamond dusts across the top, the base Electric Shovel in the centre between two cupronickel ingots, and lapis dust below, with the EU charge inside the base tool carrying over to the result. A plain right-click of the Diamond-Tipped Electric Shovel still lays dirt paths and douses campfires free of charge.
