Electric Hoe
The Electric Hoe is Ala Industrial's EU-powered hoe: tills farmland and breaks hay, leaves and moss for 50 EU per use, holds 10,000 EU, and never breaks.
Description
A flat Electric Hoe is still a working tool: below 50 EU it keeps breaking blocks at hand speed with its mining level and every drop intact, but it will not till — a red message above the hotbar reports the missing charge, and only a block that could actually be tilled triggers it. Charge the Electric Hoe in the Battery Box charge slot or from a worn Energy Pack at up to 32 EU/t — the LV ceiling — for a full charge in about 16 seconds; third-party energy mods charge it too at 1 EU per 1 FE. The recipe is built around a diamond hoe: three iron ingots across the top, a battery on each side, two copper coils and an electronic circuit below, and the batteries' charge carries over into the finished tool. The Electric Hoe accepts enchantments like any vanilla hoe, attacks cost no EU, and it works the same on Fabric and NeoForge in Minecraft 26.2 (Java Edition).

How to use the Electric Hoe in Minecraft
-
1
Craft the Electric Hoe
Place three iron ingots across the top row of a crafting table, a diamond hoe in the center with a battery on each side, and two copper coils plus one electronic circuit along the bottom. The batteries' charge carries over into the finished tool.
-
2
Charge it to 10,000 EU
Put the Electric Hoe in the Battery Box charge slot or wear a charged Energy Pack. Both refill the buffer at up to 32 EU/t, so a full charge takes about 16 seconds.
-
3
Till farmland for 50 EU
Right-click dirt, grass, or a dirt path to turn it into farmland. Each successful till costs 50 EU, but clicking stone or an already-tilled plot spends nothing.
-
4
Break hoe blocks at speed 9.0
Hay bales, leaves, sponge, moss, nether wart blocks, and dried kelp break faster than with a diamond hoe while the Electric Hoe holds at least 50 EU.
Below 50 EU the Electric Hoe still breaks blocks at hand speed with every drop intact, but tilling is disabled until you recharge; in creative mode no EU is spent at all.

Frequently asked questions
Is the Electric Hoe faster than a diamond hoe?
Yes. It breaks hay, leaves, sponge and other hoe-mineable blocks at speed 9.0 against the diamond hoe's 8.0, spending 50 EU per block while charged.
How do you charge the Electric Hoe?
Place it in the Battery Box charge slot or wear a charged Energy Pack. Both accept it at up to 32 EU/t, filling the 10,000 EU buffer in about 16 seconds; third-party energy mods work too at 1 EU per 1 FE.
What happens when the Electric Hoe runs out of charge?
It keeps breaking blocks at hand speed with its mining level and drops intact, but it cannot till — right-clicking tillable soil shows a red message about the missing charge instead.
How many uses does one charge give?
About 200. The 10,000 EU buffer pays 50 EU per successful till and 50 EU per block broken at powered speed, and clicks that change nothing cost nothing.
How do you craft the Electric Hoe?
On a crafting table place three iron ingots across the top, a diamond hoe in the center with a battery on each side, and two copper coils plus an electronic circuit along the bottom. Battery charge carries over into the finished tool.
Does the Electric Hoe replace the Scythe?
No. The Electric Hoe tills soil and breaks foliage blocks, while the Scythe harvests ripe crops and clears leaves across an area — the two tools cover different jobs.
