Charging Station
The Charging Station is a plate that charges every powered item you carry — tools, offhand and worn gear — the moment you stand on it.
Description
The Charging Station spends energy only when a transfer actually happens: with nobody on the plate it sleeps and never drains the network, and it queues behind working machines, so furnaces and macerators are always served first. Any face accepts a cable — copper delivers 12 EU/t, gold 48 EU/t, and a Battery Box placed flush against the plate pushes 32 EU/t. The banked buffer is sized for one visit: a Jetpack refills in about 47 seconds from a full station, and a fully drained loadout of 167,000 EU takes minutes rather than seconds. Crafting needs three Copper Cables, four Iron Plates, one Battery and one Electronic Circuit, with the cables across the top row. Breaking the plate with a pickaxe does not preserve the stored EU, and the station cannot charge the worn gear of other mods.

How to set up and use the Charging Station in Ala Industrial
-
1
Craft the plate
Place three Copper Cables across the top row of a crafting table, then Iron Plate, Battery, Iron Plate in the middle row and Iron Plate, Electronic Circuit, Iron Plate along the bottom.
-
2
Connect it to power
Attach a cable to any face of the Charging Station: a Copper Cable feeds 12 EU/t, a Gold Cable 48 EU/t, and a Battery Box placed flush against the plate delivers 32 EU/t.
-
3
Let the buffer bank
The station refills its 20,000 EU buffer while idle, drawing only surplus energy after working machines, so furnaces and macerators on the same network never slow down.

Stand on the plate
Step on with your drill, chainsaw and worn gear — everything charges at once at up to 128 EU/t in total, and the corner lamps turn green when your loadout is full.
The Charging Station is an LV block, but its 128 EU/t input ceiling deliberately accepts a Gold Cable (MV) feed without cutting it down. Breaking the plate loses the banked EU, and worn items from other mods cannot be charged.

Frequently asked questions
How fast does the Charging Station charge?
Up to 128 EU/t in total, shared evenly across every item on you at once. Each item still accepts at most 32 EU/t, so the full rate is only reached with four or more items charging together.
How do you craft the Charging Station?
Three Copper Cables across the top row of a crafting table, Iron Plate, Battery, Iron Plate in the middle, and Iron Plate, Electronic Circuit, Iron Plate along the bottom.
Does the Charging Station drain energy while idle?
No. The plate spends EU only when a transfer actually happens — with no visitor, or a fully charged one, it sleeps and consumes nothing.
What can the Charging Station not charge?
Worn armour and gear from other mods, because their energy is not addressed through inventory slot indexes. Items from other mods lying in normal inventory slots charge fine, and so does every piece of Ala Industrial gear, worn or carried.
How long does a Jetpack take to charge?
About 47 seconds from a full station, exactly as in a Battery Box charge slot — the Jetpack is limited by its own 32 EU/t intake and its 30,000 EU capacity.
Does the Charging Station keep its charge when broken?
No. Mining the plate with a pickaxe destroys the stored EU: only the block drops, and the 20,000 EU buffer starts empty after you place it again.
