Double Carbon Rod is forged from two Carbon Rods under a Forge Hammer — the second step of Ala Industrial's coal chain, right before the Carbon Briquette.
Description
Every Double Carbon Rod exists for exactly one recipe: the Carbon Briquette. In the Alloy Smelter, two Double Carbon Rods join 4 Poor Slag, 2 Slag, or 1 Rich Slag into one briquette at 1200 EU per run. A full stack of coal — 64 pieces — grinds into 64 Coal Dust, presses into four Carbon Rods, and forges into two Double Carbon Rods: exactly what one briquette asks for. There is no way back, because Ala Industrial deliberately ships no recipe that splits a Double Carbon Rod into two Carbon Rods; the coal chain is a one-way sink. The briquette then becomes a Ceramic Plate and finally the blast-resistant Carbon Ceramic block.

Feed coal into the Macerator one piece at a time; each grind costs 300 EU and returns one Coal Dust, and 32 coal covers one Double Carbon Rod.

Load 16 Coal Dust into the Compressor; one pressing costs 260 EU and yields one Carbon Rod, so press two for the forging step.

Combine the Forge Hammer with the two Carbon Rods at a crafting table; the recipe is shapeless, costs no EU, and only wears the hammer's durability.
