Battery Pouch
Battery Pouch is Ala Industrial's first electric item: a chargeable pouch holding 128 weight (bundle-style capacity) of items that locks when its 2000 EU battery runs flat.
Description
Charging happens at the Battery Box charge slot and tops the 2000 EU buffer in about three seconds, good for roughly 33 minutes of active carrying before Battery Pouch locks again. The same bundle-style weight rule applies: blocks and resources weigh 1, stack-16 items like pearls or snowballs weigh 4, and non-stackable tools or buckets weigh 64. Because the pouch exposes its loader's item-energy capability, other mods' chargers can also fill Battery Pouch on Fabric or NeoForge, converting their energy into EU at a 1:1 rate, though the interface is insert-only and capped at the 32 EU/t LV limit. Battery Pouch never drains while sitting in a chest or a Battery Box, and keeps its charge, contents, and custom name on drop or death.

How to use the Battery Pouch in Minecraft
-
1
Craft the Battery Pouch
Arrange leather, a tin ingot, a vanilla bundle, and an electronic circuit in a shaped 3x3 grid at a workbench to craft Battery Pouch, the mod's first electric storage item.
-
2
Charge the pouch at a Battery Box
Place Battery Pouch in the Battery Box charge slot to fill its 2000 EU buffer, which takes about three seconds for a full charge.
-
3
Fill the pouch with items
Right-click a stack onto Battery Pouch inside an inventory to insert items; the pouch holds 128 weight total, filling partial stacks first before taking new weight.
-
4
Mind the charge and recharge
Battery Pouch drains 1 EU per second while carrying items and locks shut at zero charge; recharge at the Battery Box to unlock the contents, which are never lost.
On Fabric or NeoForge, foreign chargers can also fill Battery Pouch, converting their energy into EU, though the interface is insert-only and capped at the 32 EU/t LV limit.

Frequently asked questions
Can you craft the Battery Pouch?
Yes. Battery Pouch is crafted from leather, a tin ingot, a vanilla bundle, and an electronic circuit in a shaped 3x3 grid, and the recipe appears in the recipe book once all parts are gathered.
How much does the Battery Pouch hold?
Battery Pouch holds 128 weight of items in one inventory slot, roughly two stacks of ordinary blocks; stack-16 items like pearls cost 4 weight each and non-stackable tools cost 64.
How long does a full charge last?
A full 2000 EU charge lasts about 33 minutes of active carrying, because Battery Pouch drains 1 EU per second only while items are inside and it sits in a player's inventory.
What happens when the Battery Pouch runs out of charge?
When the charge reaches zero, Battery Pouch locks shut and blocks both inserting and extracting, but the contents are never lost and unlock again after recharging at a Battery Box.
Can other mods charge the Battery Pouch?
Yes. On Fabric or NeoForge, foreign chargers can fill Battery Pouch, converting their energy into EU, though the interface is insert-only and capped at the 32 EU/t LV limit.
