Advanced Water Wheel
Advanced Water Wheel is the top-grade wheel for the Water Mill: ×1.50 output, 6,000 durability, and about 2,880,000 EU of total generation.
Description
Each grade is crafted from the one below it, so the Advanced Water Wheel recipe takes a Reinforced Water Wheel in the center of the 3×3 grid, two Tempered Iron Plates and an Electronic Circuit across the top, copper ingots on the middle sides, and a Silver Gear at the bottom center. The ladder cannot be skipped, but a worn wheel serves as an ingredient just like a pristine one. The mill itself needs no rebuilding — the wheel slot accepts all three grades, and output rises the moment the better wheel is inserted. A worn Advanced Water Wheel can be repaired on the Component Repair Bench for one Electronic Circuit and 18,000 EU, though each repair permanently lowers maximum durability by 20%, four repairs maximum. The component works identically on Fabric and NeoForge.

How to craft and install an Advanced Water Wheel
-
1
Craft the lower grades first
Each grade is built from the one below it: a plain Water Wheel makes a Reinforced Water Wheel, and only from that comes the advanced grade. Skipping a rung is impossible.
-
2
Gather the upgrade materials
The recipe needs two Tempered Iron Plates, one Electronic Circuit, two copper ingots and one Silver Gear — plus the Reinforced Water Wheel itself.
-
3
Craft on a 3×3 grid
Place the Reinforced Water Wheel in the center, the Tempered Iron Plates in the top corners with the Electronic Circuit between them, copper ingots on the middle sides, and the Silver Gear at the bottom center. A worn reinforced wheel works as well as a new one.

4
Swap the wheel in the Water Mill
Open the Water Mill and put the new wheel into the slot — it accepts all three grades. Output multiplies by ×1.50 immediately: up to 6 EU/t on a channel with all four flowing-water sides.
The Component Repair Bench clears wear for one Electronic Circuit and 18,000 EU, but every repair permanently lowers maximum durability by 20%, and the bench refuses the wheel after four repairs.

Frequently asked questions
How much power does the Advanced Water Wheel add?
It multiplies the Water Mill's output by ×1.50. On a channel with all four flowing-water sides running, that is 6 EU/t instead of 4 EU/t with the basic wooden Water Wheel.
How long does an Advanced Water Wheel last?
Its 6,000 durability at 480 EU per point gives 2,880,000 EU of total generation — about 60 in-game days of continuous work, or nine wooden Water Wheels' worth of life.
How do you craft an Advanced Water Wheel?
Put a Reinforced Water Wheel in the center of a 3×3 grid, two Tempered Iron Plates in the top corners with an Electronic Circuit between them, copper ingots on the middle sides, and a Silver Gear at the bottom center.
Can you skip the Reinforced Water Wheel?
No. Every grade is crafted from the one below it, so the advanced recipe always contains a Reinforced Water Wheel, which itself contains a plain Water Wheel. A worn wheel works as an ingredient as well as a pristine one.
Can the Advanced Water Wheel be repaired?
Yes, on the Component Repair Bench for one Electronic Circuit and 18,000 EU. Each repair permanently reduces maximum durability by 20%, and after four repairs the part cannot be repaired again.
Does the Advanced Water Wheel stack?
No. All three wheel grades are durability items with a wear bar, so they never stack — stack size is 1.
