Spider Spawn Egg
Spider Spawn Egg instantly spawns a spider in Creative mode (it cannot be obtained in Survival) and can retune a monster spawner to produce spiders.
Description
Right-clicking the top of a solid block with Spider Spawn Egg drops one spider on that surface, while right-clicking a monster spawner instead retunes that spawner to produce spiders. Spiders created this way have 16 health (8 hearts), climb vertical walls, and stay neutral at light level 12 or higher while turning hostile in darker areas. Builders use Spider Spawn Egg to stock mob farms, test cave defences, or populate spooky adventure maps, and the spawned spiders drop string and spider eyes when killed.

How to use a Spider Spawn Egg in Minecraft
-
1
Get the spawn egg
Open the Creative inventory and search for "spider", or run the give command to receive a Spider Spawn Egg in any mode.
-
2
Aim at a surface
Point the crosshair at the top face of a solid block where you want the spider to appear.
-
3
Spawn the spider
Right-click (use item) to spawn one spider on that block; each additional click spawns another spider.
-
4
Retune a spawner (optional)
Right-click a monster spawner with the Spider Spawn Egg to make that spawner produce spiders instead of its original mob.
Spider Spawn Egg is unobtainable in Survival on both Java and Bedrock Edition; spiders spawned from the egg still need a 2-block-wide, 1-block-tall space to appear.
