Description
Golden Scythe is crafted at a workbench from three gold ingots and two sticks in a custom shape unlike the vanilla hoe, and repairs with gold ingots at an anvil. In harvest mode, every cut of a true crop has a 20% chance to drop one bonus seed — a roll independent of Fortune that stacks on top of it and outranks tempered iron's 18%: the fragile-but-lucky side-grade, behind only the Diamond Scythe (25%) and the Netherite Scythe (35%). Gold also carries its vanilla enchantability of 22, so Golden Scythe takes Unbreaking and Mending easily, plus Efficiency, Fortune and Silk Touch like a hoe. Golden Scythe draws no EU power and belongs to none of Ala Industrial's energy tiers: a pure hand tool, identical on Fabric and NeoForge, mowing the same 5×3, 30-block patch as the Iron Scythe, one step below the Tempered Iron Scythe (5×4, 40 blocks).

Craft the Golden Scythe
Combine three gold ingots and two sticks at a workbench in the custom scythe shape: two ingots across the top row, a stick and an ingot in the middle row, and one stick directly below that stick. The recipe appears in the recipe book as soon as you pick up a gold ingot.

Mow foliage with a plain right-click
Right-click a plant from the main hand and Golden Scythe clears a flat 5×3 area three blocks tall of leaves, grass, flowers, ferns, mushrooms, vines and saplings. Every block drops its normal loot, exactly as if broken by hand.

Harvest crops with Shift held
Hold Shift and right-click to switch Golden Scythe into harvest mode. Only fully mature crops are cut — wheat, carrots, potatoes, beetroot and ripe sweet berry bushes, plus cactus and sugar cane above their base — so unripe seedlings and melon or pumpkin stems are left untouched.

Golden Scythe takes Efficiency, Unbreaking, Fortune, Silk Touch and Mending at the enchanting table and anvil, and gold's enchantability of 22 lands strong enchantments easily. Unbreaking and Mending stretch the 32-point durability bar furthest.

Budget the 32 durability points
Each of the 32 durability points covers one actually broken plant — grass wears the tool exactly like leaves — so a full 30-block swing can spend almost the whole bar at once. Repair Golden Scythe with gold ingots at an anvil.
Golden Scythe is a hand tool with no EU power draw and, unlike the Netherite Scythe, it is not fire-resistant. The 30-block cap per swing always applies, with blocks nearest to the click broken first, and the 20% bonus seed roll works only on true crops in harvest mode.
