Description

Enriched Uranium (U-235) is the fuel-grade end of Ala Industrial's uranium chain — the material the mod's reactor runs on. The Compressor presses two Uranium Concentrate into one Enriched Uranium (U-235) at 260 EU per operation, and the concentrate itself comes from the Thermal Centrifuge, which splits one uranium dust into two for 800 EU. Uranium Ore — the mod's rarest ore, roughly seven times rarer than diamond — doubles into two dust in the Macerator. A full line therefore turns one ore block into two pieces of Enriched Uranium (U-235), while a plain smelt of the same ore gives only a single ingot.

Enriched Uranium (U-235) has exactly one consumer: one piece combined with a Fuel Rod Cladding at a crafting table makes the Fuel Rod, the reactor's only fuel. A Fuel Rod gives up exactly 144,000 EU inside a Reactor Column — up to four rods fit — and comes back as an empty cladding when burnt out. The Reactor Column never burns Enriched Uranium (U-235) directly: the rod shape is a deliberate design step. Radioactivity is the catch — Enriched Uranium (U-235) sits in the mod's highest radiation tier and irradiates the player from any inventory slot. A Shielding Pouch makes the material safe to carry, and a Shielding Chest keeps a stockpile harmless in storage. Ala Industrial runs only in Minecraft 26.2 Java Edition, and Enriched Uranium (U-235) behaves identically on Fabric and NeoForge.

How to make and use Enriched Uranium (U-235) in Ala Industrial

  1. 1

    Mine and macerate Uranium Ore

Dig Uranium Ore with an iron pickaxe or better — the ore is densest around Y -24 — and grind each ore block in the Macerator into two uranium dust.

  2. 2

Split the dust in the Thermal Centrifuge

Put a hot Electric Heater under the Thermal Centrifuge and spin the rotor up with a redstone signal: one uranium dust then splits into two Uranium Concentrate for 800 EU.

  3. 3

    Press the concentrate

Load two Uranium Concentrate into the Compressor: one operation costs 260 EU and yields one Enriched Uranium (U-235).

  4. 4

    Fill a Fuel Rod Cladding

Combine Enriched Uranium (U-235) with a Fuel Rod Cladding on a crafting table to assemble the Fuel Rod.

  5. 5

    Load the Reactor Column

Right-click the Fuel Rod onto a Reactor Column — up to four rods fit — and let each rod release its 144,000 EU.

Radiation warning

Enriched Uranium (U-235) irradiates the player straight from the inventory — the Geiger Counter clicking nearby is the only warning radiation gives. Carry the material in a Shielding Pouch and keep stockpiles in a Shielding Chest: both stop the radiation of their contents completely.

Frequently asked questions

How is Enriched Uranium (U-235) made in Ala Industrial?

The Compressor presses two Uranium Concentrate into one Enriched Uranium (U-235) at 260 EU per operation. The concentrate comes from the Thermal Centrifuge, which splits one uranium dust into two for 800 EU.

What is Enriched Uranium (U-235) used for?

Enriched Uranium (U-235) has a single use: combined with a Fuel Rod Cladding on a crafting table, the material becomes a Fuel Rod. The Fuel Rod is the reactor's only fuel and gives up exactly 144,000 EU inside a Reactor Column.

Is Enriched Uranium (U-235) radioactive?

Yes. Enriched Uranium (U-235) belongs to the mod's highest radiation tier and irradiates the player from any inventory slot. A Shielding Pouch or a Shielding Chest stops the radiation of the contents completely.

Can the reactor burn Enriched Uranium (U-235) directly?

No. The Reactor Column accepts Fuel Rods only — the cladding step is deliberate, and the burnt-out rod comes back as an empty cladding ready for a new filling.

How much Enriched Uranium (U-235) does one ore block give?

Two pieces on a full line. The Macerator doubles the ore block into two dust, the Thermal Centrifuge splits each dust into two Uranium Concentrate, and the Compressor presses every two concentrate into one Enriched Uranium (U-235).
