Description

Mossy Stone Bricks are crafted from one regular stone brick combined with one vine on the crafting grid (or with a moss block since the Caves & Cliffs Update). The texture is identical to standard stone bricks but with a green-grey patina dripping over the surface — visually clear evidence of age, moisture, and the slow patience of overgrowth.

The block generates naturally in strongholds, igloo basements, ocean ruins, and ruined portals, scattered among regular stone bricks to give each structure a sense of historical weathering. Builders use Mossy Stone Bricks to age fortress walls, suggest dampness in dungeon floors, and signal forgotten ruins in jungle-themed builds. The full family of slabs, stairs, and walls is available at a stonecutter or via standard crafting recipes — pair them with regular stone bricks in a roughly one-to-three ratio for the most natural weathering effect.
