Description

Cracked Stone Bricks are produced by smelting one regular stone brick block in any furnace, blast furnace, or smoker — a one-to-one conversion that consumes one fuel unit per brick. The texture retains the tile grid of the standard variant but adds dark hairline cracks across the surface, suggesting heat damage, age, or impact stress.

The block generates naturally in stronghold corridors and igloo basements alongside regular stone bricks, contributing to the lived-in look of those structures. As decoration, builders mix Cracked Stone Bricks into otherwise pristine walls to break up the visual uniformity — a one-in-five or one-in-eight ratio is enough to hint at age without making the build look catastrophically damaged. The full family of slabs, stairs, and walls is available at a stonecutter, and the cracked texture also pairs well with cobblestone, mossy variants, and mob-spawn dungeon themes.
