Lapotron Crystal is the HV crafting component of the Ala Industrial tech mod that no workbench can finish. The crafting grid only assembles a blank: a finished Energy Crystal in the centre, four Advanced Circuits in the corners, two Resonance Coils at the sides and an Energy Clot II below. The blank absorbs 500 000 EU in any charge slot at no more than 128 EU/t, and once the buffer is full the blank disappears and the finished crystal takes its place — about 3 minutes 15 seconds in total, because no charge slot in Ala Industrial fills an item faster. The finished Lapotron Crystal is an ordinary item: no charge bar, no buffer, nothing to charge or drain, since the energy was the price of making it rather than its contents.

Any charger in the mod fills the blank: a Battery Box slot, a Reinforced Energy Storage slot, a Charging Station, a worn Energy Pack, a right-click transfer from a Battery, and even another mod's charger — the item exposes its energy interface on both Fabric and NeoForge. From then on the Lapotron Crystal serves only as a crafting material, first of all in the centre of the Resonant Crystal Blank, the next rung of the crystal ladder that leads from the Energy Crystal through the Lapotron Crystal to the Resonant Crystal. A rung cannot be skipped: every blank is assembled around a finished crystal of the previous tier, and each blank charges from zero. The Lapotron Crystal belongs to Minecraft 26.2 Java Edition only.
