Insulated Leggings are the leg piece of Ala Industrial's insulated set — one worn piece cuts 25% of bare-cable shock, four pieces stop the shock entirely.
Description
Insulated Leggings protect narrowly by design: defense stays at the leather line of 2 armor points, so the set never replaces real armor against mobs, arrows or falls. Insulated Leggings also carry 375 durability that pays for what the coating stops — the full set spends 1 point per absorbed LV shock, 2 per MV and 3 per HV. Roughly six minutes of unbroken work beside a live copper line empties the green coating, and a broken piece stops insulating on the spot. An anvil and leather restore the gear, the Unbreaking enchantment slows the wear, and once rubber is flowing, Insulated Copper Cable removes the hazard for good.

Place one Leather Pants and one Slimeball anywhere on a crafting grid — the recipe is shapeless and yields one pair of Insulated Leggings. Slimeballs drop from slimes, which spawn in swamp biomes at night and in slime chunks underground.

Equip Insulated Leggings in the leg slot
Open the inventory and put Insulated Leggings into the leggings armor slot. Every worn piece of the insulated set cuts 25% of the cable shock, so add the Insulated Helmet, Insulated Chestplate and Insulated Boots as soon as leather allows.

A bare cable carrying current strikes once per second within half a block. The worn insulation absorbs its share of the hit and pays durability instead of hearts, so watch the coating bar and step back when it runs low.

Combine worn Insulated Leggings with leather in an anvil to restore durability. The Unbreaking enchantment slows the wear, and a broken pair stops insulating until repaired.
Insulated Leggings alone let 75% of the shock damage through, and defense stays at the leather line of 2 armor points. The permanent fix is Insulated Copper Cable: once the rubber chain is running, re-lay the line and the hazard disappears entirely.
