Description
RSH-Condensator is one of the two condensator-type Nuclear Reactor components added by Industrial Craft 2, alongside LZH-Condensator. Crafting takes seven Redstone, one Heat Vent, and one Heat Exchanger arranged in a shaped grid. Inside a reactor, RSH-Condensator accepts heat only from adjacent components — fuel rods directly or heat exchangers — and destroys the transferred heat immediately; a coolant cell, by contrast, only stores absorbed heat. RSH-Condensator carries 20,000 units of durability and never pulls or exchanges heat on its own.
Two RSH-Condensators combine with four Redstone, one Reactor Heat Vent, one Lapis Lazuli Block, and one Reactor Heat Exchanger to craft the LZH-Condensator, the stronger condensator holding 100,000 durability. Heat never destroys RSH-Condensator: a depleted condensator rests in the reactor at 0 health until repaired, with Redstone in a crafting grid restoring up to 10,000 durability and a Reactor Coolant Injector (RSH) repairing 17,000–20,000 with one Block of Redstone. Every repair consumes Redstone or Lapis Lazuli, so condensator-based reactor designs burn resources instead of venting heat passively.

The official IC2 wiki does not recommend condensators in a fluid reactor: eliminated heat never reaches the reactor coolant, so the fluid design produces no output power.
