Glass Fibre Cable is the most efficient cable type in Industrial Craft 2, tolerating currents up to Insane Voltage — 8192 EU/t — with very little distance-related energy loss. The official cable efficiency table lists a loss of 0.025 EU per block, which works out to 1 EU over a 40-block run. Crafting follows a shaped pattern: three Glass across the top row, Energium, Silver, then Energium across the middle row, and three Glass across the bottom row; one crafting operation turns 6 Glass, 2 Energium, and 1 Silver into 6 Glass Fibre Cables. That ingredient mix also makes Glass Fibre Cable the most expensive cable type in the mod.
