How to use the Forge Hammer in IndustrialCraft 2
-
1
Craft the Forge Hammer
Place five iron ingots and two sticks in the crafting grid to forge one Forge Hammer with 80 durability.
-
2
Press metal plates
Put the Forge Hammer next to any metal ingot in the crafting grid to flatten that ingot into a matching plate.
-
3
Stamp item casings
Combine the Forge Hammer with two metal plates of the same type to produce two item casings.
-
4
Track durability
Each press removes one of the hammer's 80 uses, so craft a replacement before the Forge Hammer wears out.
The Forge Hammer makes the same outputs as a Metal Former in rolling mode, so once you build a Metal Former you can automate plate production and retire the hand tool.
