How to use the IC2 Electric Hoe in Minecraft
-
1
Craft the Electric Hoe
Combine an iron hoe, an RE Battery, and an Electronic Circuit in the IC2 Crafting Table to assemble the Electric Hoe.
-
2
Charge the Electric Hoe
Place the Electric Hoe in the charging slot of a Batbox, MFE, or MFSU to fill its 10,000 EU internal buffer at Low Voltage.
-
3
Equip and till the field
Hold the Electric Hoe and right-click on dirt or grass; the Electric Hoe tills a 3x3 area at once, consuming about 50 EU per block.
-
4
Recharge when empty
When the Electric Hoe stops tilling, return it to a Batbox or MFE — at 0 EU the tool silently stops working until recharged.
The Electric Hoe pairs perfectly with IC2 Stickreed and Hops farms, where a 3x3 till radius saves enormous time over a vanilla iron hoe.
