Crop Stick plants an Industrial Craft 2 crop on tilled dirt for farming Wheat or Reeds and cross-breeding (combining two plants into a hybrid).
Description
Two Crop Sticks unlock plant breeding: right-clicking an empty crop while holding another Crop Stick turns the crop into a crossbreeder, and with at least two plants adjacent, the crossbreeder combines the traits of the adjacent plants into a hybrid plant. An empty crop without a plant grows weeds, which spread to adjacent plants and kill the plants, so Weed Ex spray protects the farm — though too much Weed Ex makes crops less efficient. The Crop-Matron machine watches over growing crops while the player is off mining.

Plant Wheat, Watermelon, Pumpkin, Reeds, Yellow Flowers, or Roses in the crop and wait until the plants are fully grown.

Harvest by right-clicking
Right-click a fully grown plant to harvest without destroying the plant; use left-click only to break the plant, because a fully grown plant then has a chance to drop a Crop Seed Bag.

Cross-breed with two Crop Sticks
Right-click an empty crop while holding another Crop Stick to turn the crop into a crossbreeder, and keep at least two plants adjacent so the crossbreeder combines the traits of the adjacent plants into a hybrid plant.
An empty crop grows weeds, which spread to adjacent plants and kill the plants; spraying crops with Weed Ex prevents weeds, but too much Weed Ex makes crops less efficient.
