Description

Coffee Beans are a farmable item from the IndustrialCraft 2 mod, produced by the mod's own Crops (agriculture) system rather than by mining. Players plant them on Crop Sticks, where the coffee plant grows through several stages before it can be harvested for more beans. The main purpose of Coffee Beans is processing: running them through a Macerator turns them into Coffee Powder, the intermediate used to brew coffee. The finished hot coffee is a consumable drink that restores a little hunger and grants a short Speed effect, making it a handy stimulant for long mining or building trips. Because the coffee plant is renewable through the Crops system, a small farm gives a steady supply of beans without manual replanting from scratch. Coffee Beans only exist when IndustrialCraft 2 is installed; they are not part of vanilla Minecraft and have no use outside the mod's machines and recipes. Keep a Macerator powered nearby if you plan to convert beans into powder in bulk for repeated brewing.
