CF Powder
Construction Foam Powder is an IC2 ingredient sprayed with water to form blast-resistant Reinforced Stone around cables and walls.

Guide
How to use Construction Foam Powder in IC2
-
1
Obtain CF Powder
Craft Construction Foam Powder in IC2 using sand-based ingredients. The stack size is 64, so prepare a full stack before large projects.
-
2
Prepare a CF Sprayer
Place CF Powder into the CF Sprayer along with a water source — a water cell, capsule, or bucket depending on your IC2 version.
-
3
Spray the target
Right-click the surface, wall, or cable you want to reinforce. Wet foam appears as a soft, deformable block.
-
4
Wait for hardening
Within about one minute, the wet foam cures into Reinforced Stone, gaining full blast resistance against TNT and Creepers.
-
5
Optional dyeing
Apply any vanilla dye to the wet foam before it sets to produce colored Reinforced Stone for decorative or coded bases.

Frequently asked questions
What is Construction Foam Powder used for?
CF Powder is loaded into a CF Sprayer with water to spray Construction Foam that hardens into blast-resistant Reinforced Stone, mainly for protecting IC2 cables and reactor walls.
How long does the foam take to harden?
Wet Construction Foam cures into Reinforced Stone within about one minute after spraying.
Can I dye the resulting Reinforced Stone?
Yes. Apply any vanilla dye to the wet foam before it hardens to set the color of the final Reinforced Stone.
Does spraying foam break IC2 cables inside it?
No. Cables encased in hardened foam continue to transfer EU and gain explosion protection — that is the intended use.
What stack size does CF Powder have?
CF Powder stacks up to 64, like most IC2 crafting items.
