Description

CF Cell is an Industrial Craft 2 (IC2) item that stores Construction Foam, the viscous building fluid of the mod, in Minecraft Java Edition. The foam fluid is made in the Canning Machine, which enriches one CF Powder with 1000 mB of water into 1000 mB of Construction Foam and fills the result into an empty cell. CF Powder itself is crafted on the 3x3 grid from six Stone Dust, two Sand and one Clay Ball.

Sprayed with the CF Sprayer at 100 mB per block, Construction Foam hardens into Construction Foam Wall at 0.6% every 25 seconds per light level and never solidifies in complete darkness; right-clicking fresh foam with Sand hardens it instantly. Hardened Construction Foam Wall has an explosion resistance of 60 and can be recolored with the Painter, and foam sprayed over a placed cable forms a block that still works as a cable but looks like a wall. CF Cell exists only with the Industrial Craft 2 mod installed and is not part of vanilla Minecraft.

How to get and use CF Cell in Minecraft (IC2)

    Install Industrial Craft 2

    Add the IC2 mod for Minecraft 1.7.10 or 1.12.2 — CF Cell does not exist in vanilla Minecraft.

    Craft CF Powder

    Place six Stone Dust, two Sand and one Clay Ball on the 3x3 crafting grid to make one CF Powder, the raw form of the foam.

    Fill a CF Cell

    In a Canning Machine, enrich one CF Powder with 1000 mB of water into 1000 mB of Construction Foam and let the machine fill it into an empty cell.

    Spray the foam

    Use the CF Sprayer to right-click a block face or a placed IC2 cable — every sprayed block consumes 100 mB of Construction Foam.

    Harden the wall

    Foam solidifies at 0.6% every 25 seconds per light level and never in darkness; right-click fresh foam with Sand to harden it instantly.

Tip

CF Cell cannot be placed in the world — Construction Foam appears only through the CF Sprayer, and unhardened foam cannot be harvested at all.
