Description

CF Cell is an Industrial Craft 2 (IC2) item that stores Construction Foam, a viscous fluid used to coat cables and spray walls in Minecraft Java Edition. CF Cell is produced by combining Construction Foam Pellets with an Empty Cell, typically by placing the pellets and the empty cell in a Canning Machine or on the crafting grid as defined by the IC2 mod for Minecraft 1.7.10 and 1.12.2. CF Cell behaves as a portable, single-use fluid container: once loaded into a CF Sprayer, the cell is consumed and its contents are dispensed as Construction Foam.

CF Cell is used by inserting the cell into a CF Sprayer and right-clicking on IC2 cables or solid blocks. The sprayer applies a thin layer of Construction Foam that quickly hardens into Construction Foam Wall, an insulating decorative block that also paints cables for weather protection and aesthetics. Builders prefer CF Cell over raw pellets when filling large CF Sprayer reservoirs, because each cell delivers a fixed, predictable amount of foam and stacks cleanly in inventory. CF Cell only exists inside an IC2 world — it is not part of vanilla Minecraft and must be supplied by the Industrial Craft 2 mod.

How to craft and use CF Cell in Minecraft (IC2)

    Install Industrial Craft 2

    Add the IC2 mod for Minecraft 1.7.10 or 1.12.2 — CF Cell does not exist in vanilla Minecraft.

    Prepare Construction Foam Pellets

    Combine Stone Dust with an Empty Cell on the crafting grid to obtain Construction Foam Pellets, the raw form of the foam.

    Produce CF Cell

    Combine Construction Foam Pellets with an Empty Cell — using a Canning Machine or the IC2 crafting recipe — to fill the cell with Construction Foam.

    Load CF Cell into a CF Sprayer

    Right-click the CF Sprayer in your inventory to insert CF Cell as its fuel and fluid reservoir.

    Apply the foam

    Right-click on IC2 cables to paint and weatherproof them, or on a target block face to spray foam that hardens into Construction Foam Wall.

Tip

CF Cell only behaves as Construction Foam fuel inside a CF Sprayer; placing the cell directly in the world will not spawn foam.
