Description

Compressed Air Cell is an IndustrialCraft 2 item — a Universal Fluid Cell filled with compressed air. The Compressed Air Cell is not a placeable block; it is an inventory item consumed by IC2 machines and equipment. A Compressed Air Cell is made in a crafting grid from a Universal Fluid Cell and a charged RE-Battery, and automated lines refill empty cells through a Compressor.

The Blast Furnace smelts Refined Iron: one operation takes 1 iron (ingot, ore, crushed ore or dust) plus 6 Compressed Air Cells and outputs 1 Refined Iron and 1 Slag. Cells are emptied rather than destroyed — each one comes back as an empty Universal Fluid Cell. Worn with a Scuba Helmet, Compressed Air Cells refill the breath bar underwater: the helmet consumes a cell and leaves an empty one in its place.

Tip
