Heartbreak Pottery Sherd
Archaeology sherd from Trail Ruins showing a heart split by a jagged line — a quiet symbol of loss.

Description
The Heartbreak Pottery Sherd is an archaeological find recovered by brushing suspicious gravel inside Trail Ruins, the abandoned settlements added to Minecraft alongside the wider archaeology system. Its face shows a heart cleanly split in two by a jagged, lightning-like line, a motif players commonly read as grief, loss, or a broken bond. It pairs naturally with the Heart sherd, forming a narrative opposite within the same set.
Like every other sherd, this one cannot be crafted — brushing is the only way to obtain it. To put it on display, place four sherds or bricks in a plus shape around an empty center on the crafting grid; the result is a Decorated Pot whose visible face matches the slot where the sherd was set. The pot has a single one-stack inventory slot and accepts hoppers above and below, which makes it useful as compact, decorative storage. Broken with bare hands the pot drops whole, but any tool shatters it back into the individual sherds, so the Heartbreak Pottery Sherd is recoverable as long as the player is careful.
