Description

Gold Plate is a conductive crafting component in Ala Industrial, produced by feeding a gold ingot into the Compressor for 260 EU (2 EU/t over 130 ticks). Gold Plate is the conductive counterpart to the copper plate, carrying current through higher-tier circuits where plain copper is not conductive enough. Because gold is significantly rarer than copper, Gold Plate is a mid-game gated component — players do not mass-produce Gold Plate until a reliable gold supply is running. The Forge Hammer offers a manual fallback, hammering one gold ingot into one Gold Plate at the cost of a single durability point (a fresh hammer holds 128). Ala Industrial runs identically on Fabric and NeoForge for Minecraft 26.2, Java Edition only.

Gold Plate feeds the Advanced Circuit recipe, which consumes four gold plates alongside four rubber and one electronic circuit, making Gold Plate the bottleneck of every advanced machine that depends on that board. A gold plate recycles cleanly back into one gold dust through the Macerator at 300 EU, so surplus plates are never wasted. The Compressor accepts any cross-mod ingot tagged c:ingots/gold, yet the output always carries the alaindustrial c:plates/gold tag so downstream recipes and storage systems recognise Gold Plate. Gold Plate stacks to 64 and is renewable, because gold is renewable through piglin bartering.

How to get a Gold Plate in Ala Industrial

    Obtain a gold ingot

    Mine gold ore or deepslate gold ore underground, or barter with piglins in the Nether to receive gold ingots directly.

    Power the Compressor

    Place a Compressor and connect it to an LV energy source. The LV tier supplies up to 32 EU/t to the machine.

    Compress the ingot

    Feed one gold ingot into the Compressor. The machine spends 260 EU over 130 ticks and outputs one Gold Plate.

    Hammer fallback without EU

    If no energy is available, craft a Forge Hammer and use it on a gold ingot in a shapeless recipe — one Gold Plate per ingot, one durability per plate.

Forge Hammer durability

A fresh Forge Hammer holds 128 durability, so manual production yields about 128 Gold Plates before the hammer breaks. The hammer is repairable with an iron ingot.
