Description

Energy Condenser is the Ala Industrial block that catches the power a base would otherwise lose: when the generators outproduce the machines, the leftover electricity simply vanishes. The condenser banks that surplus instead — up to 4,000,000 EU, exactly eight Teleporter buffers — and pays it back as one item, an energy clot. Intake is deliberately narrow at 128 EU/t (one MV packet), and the clot ladder is steep: a tier-I clot requires 250,000 banked EU, tier II 1,000,000, tier III 4,000,000 — each step four times the one below. The tier is fixed by how full the bank is at the moment of extraction, and taking the clot spends the whole bank: pull it at 950,000 EU and you get tier I while the 700,000 above its price burn.
Energy Condenser cannot get in the factory's way: the grid serves it last, it cannot pull a single EU out of a Battery Box, and on a starved grid the orb simply stands still. Cable connects only to the top and bottom faces, while the clot leaves by hand, hopper or pipe through a side face. There is no upgrade panel — an overclocker would turn this surplus-sipper into a pump on the grid — so scaling means more condensers, not upgrades. Craft the block from 4 Iron Plates, 3 Gold Ingots, 1 Battery and 1 Electronic Circuit; at the full 128 EU/t intake a tier-III bank fills in about 26 minutes. Energy Condenser is the only source of energy clots, the material every Overclocker Chip is built from, and works identically on Fabric and NeoForge in Minecraft 26.2 (Java Edition).

How to use the Energy Condenser in Minecraft

    Craft the condenser

    On a crafting table, set 4 Iron Plates in the corners, 3 Gold Ingots (top middle and the sides of the middle row), 1 Battery in the center, and 1 Electronic Circuit in the bottom middle.

    Place it on the cable run

    Set the Energy Condenser where cable reaches it from the top or bottom — its only powered faces. Keep at least one side face free for extracting the clot.

    Let the surplus flow

    The grid serves the Energy Condenser last, so machines always eat first. It banks only leftover power and never drains a Battery Box; on a starved grid the orb stays still.

    Read the bank

    The inner orb spins faster and glows brighter as the bank grows. The screen prints the clot tier you would get right now and how far the next tier still is.

    Take the clot at the right moment

    Extract by hand, hopper or pipe through a side face. Taking the clot resets the bank to zero, so at 950,000 EU you get tier I — wait for the million and the same slot hands you tier II.

Important

The tier is locked to the bank level at the instant of extraction, and everything above that clot's price burns — greed against patience.

Can I speed the Energy Condenser up with an overclocker?

No — the Energy Condenser has no upgrade panel by design, because an overclocked condenser would pump power away from the machines. To bank surplus faster, add more condensers or thicker wiring.

How do hoppers and pipes extract the clot?

Through the side faces only. The top and bottom faces belong to the cable, so keep at least one side accessible for automation.
