Cable Breaker is a snap-on maintenance switch from the Ala Industrial mod for Minecraft 26.2 (Java Edition): a small lever-equipped housing that clips onto an already laid cable and de-energizes the line for service work, without forcing you to rip out the wiring. Right-click a laid cable with the Cable Breaker in hand and a small housing appears on the wire; a right-click with an empty hand flips the lever — a green stripe means the line is live, a red stripe means it is de-energized. The recipe costs 4 iron ingots and 1 lever on a crafting table, so the switch is available from the first minutes of a tech base.

A switched-off Cable Breaker pulls its whole segment out of the network: the grid splits in two exactly as if the cable had been dug up, and everything downstream loses power. That is the point of the switch — a bare copper cable in Ala Industrial deals 2 damage to players within half a block while the line is live (up to 32 EU/tick at LV tier), and the wire beyond an open breaker stops shocking within the very same tick. A freshly placed breaker is always on, so installation never blacks out the base without warning, and removing it (sneak + right-click with an empty hand) returns the item and leaves the line working. The breaker reads no redstone by design: every toggle rebuilds part of the network, so automation is left to future tiers.
